CellTank-34 is a novel Continuous-Perfusion-Single-Use-Bioreactor (CP-SUB) designed for steady-state continuous cultivation at high density of adherent as well as suspension type of mammalian cells for expression of biologics. CellTank-34 CP-SUB is a ready-to-use, pre-assembled in a pre-sterilized package designed for biomass control by temperature regulation.

CellTank-34 is designed for Magnetic-Stirrer-Table (MST) drive operation handled by in specific the advanced PCS from www.Cronus-PCS.com . The PCS includes Sipylus, Cilix-2, Harmonia, Carnus, Cassiopeia operate the CellTank-34 at max cell density and highest possible output.

CellTank-34 general specification:

• 150 ml PET scaffold, matrix either for suspension CHO or adherent CHO cells 
• Polyamide cover integrated 100% fluid tight with vessel
• PC (PolyCarbonate) vessel OD 137 mm
• Polyamide reactor body integrating envelopes filled with PET fibre matrix for enhanced bio-compatibility cultivating either adherent or suspension cell lines
• 4-pole permanent magnet operated polyamide high performance centrifugal pump facilitating simple operation on clock-wise rotation
• Drive by any PCS with >40 watt servo motor via Magnetic-Stirrer-Table (MST)
• A - Thermal control by Heating-Support-Foot work on both 115 and 230 VAC
• B - Thermal control by traditional Electrical-Heating-Blanket (75 x 350 mm) 
• Efficient elimination of bubble to cell contact and kLa values above 40 sparging with air
• Very efficient head space to liquid surface contact for high efficient CO2 control
• Delivered high precision E-beam irradiated in dual polyester foil bags

CellTank facilitates the use of PG 13.5 x 120 mm classical format Single-Use-Sensor's (SUS):

1. One pre-installed classical signal OneFerm pH SUS
2. One pre-installed non-invasive VisiWell for dO2 Re-Usable-Sensor from Hamilton (VisiFerm not included)
3. One port pre-installed with capacitance bio-mass SUS 
4. One port for CO2 SUS
5. Extra port for optional pre-installed Glucose SUS 

All CellTank further integrate the following Single-Use-Sensor's (SUS):

• Non-invasive temperature well for <ID 6.5 mm sensor – facilitate your PCS standard probe for on-line measurements
• Integrated media re-circulation mass flow rotameter – manual read-out of 0.4 - 2.4 litre/min
• Scaffold pressure drop – manual read-out of 0 – 600 mm WC - alternatively PendoTech SUS
• Media level with insulated SS electrodes in 1,200 ml and 1,500 ml height
