CellTank driven by Biostat PCS
Sartorius Biostat is a comprehensive Process-Control-System for culture vessel operation. Originally designed for operation of the UniVessel (some with jacketed glass vessel and stainless steel parts).
The high performance Magnetic-Stirrer-Table (MST) is designed for Biostat operation in the 50 – 850 rpm span. The MST / Biostat combination support CellTank-34 SUB and the CellVessel STR family.
Photos originating from 2013 comparing the single-use CellTank-34 which holds the same amount of suspension mammalian cells in 150 mm scaffold as the 5 litre media volume STR. Weight comparison is re-usable 20 kilo to 750 grams for the CP-SUB!
