The Department of Systems Biology under Danish Technical University educates candidates and researchers in disciplines such as molecular biotechnology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, bioinformatics, and chemical techniques.
Cell Technology Group, (School of Biotechnology, Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, Sweden) permanent staff has a long experience in cell-based culture bioprocesses and hESC culture. Today, the group has activities related to biopharmaceutical processes, i.e. very high cell density perfusion, metabolic flux analysis modelling for medium design; and activities related to hESCs, i.e. investigation of optimal 3D bioreactor conditions for the expansion of neurospheres and hESCs.
